What is your background?
I have worked at Silicon Hills Wealth Management for 9 years this September. As the Client Operations Specialist, my primary role at Silicon Hills includes providing support to clients through day-to-day service operations, overseeing several internal firm processes, and leading our custodian and vendor relationships.
Why did you choose to work in the financial sector?
Seeing the impact even just a little guidance can make is wonderful. When I understood how in depth and far reaching our financial lives can be gave me a whole new perspective on working in this industry. It’s less about money and more about attaining your goals. I hope to be able continue to grow in my role with my team and to continue making more impactful differences in our client’s lives.
What challenges do you enjoy?
I find it rewarding when I can help break down a complicated task into smaller, manageable steps. I enjoy playing my part in a team setting and seeing the results of our combined efforts.
What do you enjoy outside of work?
Outside of work, I enjoy catching up with my family and friends. I am a big dessert person and, when baking inspiration hits, I love to make a mess in the kitchen. I love noisy board game nights, wine and cheese tastings, and my growing collection of house plants.
What are your areas of expertise?
My strong organizational skills help me oversee projects, manage workflows, and contribute to the team effort by accomplishing related special projects as needed. I enable our team to perform more effectively.
