Announcing…A Voice From the Hills
Silicon Hills has created a voice skill within the Amazon domain to allow us to publish voice updates through the system. Enabling the skill is a simple process.
- Login to your Amazon.com account linked to your Echo device.
- Visit our skill page.
- Click “Enable” if you haven’t yet.
- Then say “Alexa, ask Silicon Hills Wealth for the latest update”
Once you have done so, Alexa will notify you when additional updates are available. Our goal in using this platform is to provide strategies and tips for each element of the wealth management process. The updates will be grouped into themes and will be regular and succinct. We will share with you recent changes to the market and legislative landscape that might impact your planning decisions and give you tangible and actionable information. We’ll share techniques, checklists, and much more. Our theme for end of year 2020 is Making A Difference. Our Making A Difference updates will focus on legacy planning for family, lifetime and estate giving techniques, opportunities created by the Cares Act and more
Our Alexa initiative is the first phase of our Voice initiative. Throughout 2021, we will be adding additional features including informational podcasts, interviews with industry experts, and links to presentations covering various topics, strategies, and issues impacting our industry and our clients. The evolution of A Voice From The Hills will be driven in part by input we receive from you. If you have ideas for topics or feedback, please feel free to share it.
